The Miss Universe 2015 pageant has been absolutely filled with turmoil and controversy, and it doesn’t stop with Steve Harvey’s mistakes. After the host announced the wrong winner and had to correct his mistake, taking the crown from Miss Colombia and giving it to Miss Philippines, the other candidates in the competition weren’t very happy; especially not Miss Germany.

Natalie Cruz, a Colombian news anchor, interviews some of the contestants after the show, and her interview with Sarah-Lorraine Riek, who represented Miss Germany in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, has gone viral after the beauty pageant contestant said “None of us voted for Philippines.”

Cruz started off the interview by pointing out that after Steve Harvey corrected his mistake, and the crown that Miss Colombia briefly wore was given to Miss Philippines instead, the remaining contestants all ran to Ariadna María Gutiérrez Arévalo, who represented Colombia, directly to console and support her, instead of going to Pia Wurtzbach, who represented the Philippines, to congratulate her on her win.

When asked why she and the other contestants did that, Miss Germany responded by saying, “Because none of us voted for Philippines,” following it up with a brief apology, “I am so sorry to say that.” Click here to watch the full interview video.

Although hesitant to elaborate after saying that, Miss Germany had previously said “I really couldn’t believe it, I was so upset. Because for me, she was robbed as the real winner. I was very happy for Miss Colombia because she really deserved it. I’m really not happy with the result and so are the other girls, I’m sorry to say it.”

Ever since this video went viral, Miss Germany has been on the receiving end of hateful comments herself, with Dorethy Mae Legaspi Sero saying that her words were “Very unprofessional,” before adding, “you deserve to be in the 80th place.”

What do you think? Did Miss Colombia deserve the crown more than Miss Philippines did?
