Mortgage interest rates have edged higher on some loan products at JPMorgan Chase today. The standard 30-year fixed mortgage is quoted with an unchanged interest rate of 4.000% today with a slightly higher APR of 4.083% and 1 point. The shorter-term 15-year loan is quoted at 3.250% with an APR of 3.394% and 1 point.
Buyers can lock into a 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage today with an interest rate as low as 3.000% for the first five years and a starting APR of 2.924% with 1.125 points. The 7/1 ARM is offered with an interest rate of 3.250% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.059% to start and 1 point.
Refinance Rates Today
Refinance rates have also moved upward. Chase offers the standard 30-year refinance loan at 4.125% today with a corresponding APR of 4.209%. The popular 15-year refi loan is quoted at 3.375% with a 3.502% APR. Homeowners can lock into a 5/1 refi ARM with an interest rate of 3.125% for the first five years and a starting APR of 2.958%. The 7/1 adjustable rate refinance is offered at 3.375% today for the first seven years with a 3.118% APR to start.
