Today’s Mortgage Rates carried by Citigroup, BB&T and SunTrust Bank (8/13/2013)

Today's Mortgage Rates by Citigroup BB&T SunTrust 8-13-13Citigroup have released their quotes today for the interest rates for the mortgage rates available at their bank, starting with the 30 year FRM at 4.250% with an APR of 4.458% followed by the 15 year FRM which is quoted at 3.375% with an APR of 3.694%. Refinance rates are also made available today by means of the 30 year refinance at 4.375% with an APR of 4.567%, and the 15 year refinance which is made available at the bank at an interest rate of 3.500% with an APR f 3.755%.

Moving on to the next bank’s offer for the 30 year FRM, BB&T released their quote at 3.875% with an APR of 4.458%. Also available is the 20 year FRM offered by the bank today at 3.375% with an APR of 3.984%. Also made available today by BB&T is the 15 year FRM that can be had at the bank at an interest rate of 4.375% with an APR of 4.908%. The much shorter term of 10 year FRM is also announced by the bank to be available at 3.875% with an APR of 4.510%.


Last among this batch is the quotes of SunTrust, their quote for the 30 year FRM is 4.400% with an APR of 4.5299%. FHA also released theirs at 4.300% with an APR of 5.9287%. The 30 year jumbo fixed rate is listed at 4.490% with an APR of 4.5877%. The shorter term of 15 year FRM is announced at 3.375% with an APR of 3.5749%. Adjustable deals are available by means of the 7 year ARM at 3.800% with an APR of 3.4218% and the 5 year ARM at 3.400% with an APR of 3.1657%.

BB&T holds today’s lowest quote for the 30 year FRM at 3.875% compared to the released rate of 4.250% of Citigroup and the 4.400% of SunTrust.
