In the past few weeks, we have received a lot of new information about the upcoming Galaxy S6 flagship smartphone form both official as well as unofficial sources. The company itself teased a few aspects of the phone such as the wireless charging capability as well as camera and design, and today, we have a glimpse of the upcoming device, thanks to two US carriers.
T-Mobile was the first one to release a new teaser for the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone via twitter. The company CEO, John Legere tweeted Sunday evening that the carrier would be carrying the new Samsung flagship. Along with this information, he also added a link which showed off the new Galaxy smartphone from one side.
The image looks promising and comes with the tagline “Six Appeal”. The important thing to note here is that as predicted, the phone will be made of metal. Even the tagline has a unique shine most probably to reflect the change from the old plastic body to a new metal one. The picture also confirms that the sides would be curved on the new device. To be honest, the dark grey body looks way better than the fake leather look. T-Mobile’s page further adds that there will be a lot more information to share when Samsung officially announces the device on March 1 in Barcelona, Spain.

However, T-Mobile wasn’t the only carrier to show off a picture of the upcoming Samsung flagship. AT&T also joined the party a few hours later, revealing its own version of the image. The tagline and the image look identical, except for a change in color from red to blue. However, the AT&T poster does confirm a spring release, as the words are written at the bottom of the image. Still no word from Sprint or Verizon, but expect more information from them soon.
While this picture is enough to excite any Samsung fan, the company has released a series of teasers to show off some of the features on the upcoming device. The most important teaser was probably the video which gave us a glimpse of the curved anti-reflective display on the new S6. Further, it also officially confirmed that the phone will be made out of metal instead of the boring plastic design.
There are a lot of interesting features expected on the new Samsung flagship and more details will be revealed once the company makes the S6 official at the Unpacked Event in MWC 2015.
