T-Mobile will be the latest wireless network in the US to offer LG Electronics G Flex, which is the first curved and flexible smartphone in the world. The carrier is now accepting pre-orders for the bendable handset now. The units would be delivered by the phones official launch on February 5.
Through the companys unlimited Simple Plan, subscribers could buy the G Flex without any down payment and with monthly installment payment of $28 per month for 24 months. The package is also bundled with option to take Netflix trial within six months.
The G Flex has a 6-inch display (OLED HD) with reduced glare especially from ambient light. It facilitates better game-playing or video-watching experience particularly for users who are on the go. The handset also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter, 3,400 mAH curved battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The smartphones volume, cameras, and power can be operated with touch finger at the rear key. Anticipation is building up for this bendable and curved handset, which is among the first of its kind in the currently competitive and innovative wireless phone market.
For customers who dont prefer a bendy phone, T-Mobile is also including in its lineup LGs Optimus F3Q. The smartphone has QWERTY keyboard and a 4-inch IPS TFT screen. It operates on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The handset also comes with a 5-megapixel camera and with enhanced features.
The device has the popular features that are exclusive to LG phones. Among those is the Quick Theater that provides instant access to photos, videos, and entertainment apps. The QuickMemo enables users to draw or write on the screen shot or picture using just fingers.
Optimus F3Q will be offered through T-Mobile starting next week. It will also be available for zero down payment and 24 monthly installment payments of just $13.
For big LG smartphone fans, there is even more good news. The smartphone manufacturer has announced that it would launch the follow up to its LG G Pro in February. It will be called the LG G Pro 2 and it will first be unveiled in the Mobile World Conference to be held this year in Barcelona, Spain. There is no announcement from T-Mobile yet if it would also carry the new handset or if it does, the question would be when.
