The news keeps getting weirder by the minute.

According to murder suspect Jason Russell Jump, it’s hip-hop star Jay-Z who should be put behind bars and not him. Jump, who is currently confined at the Hawaii State Hospital for second degree murder, allegedly bludgeoned his landlord to death in Nanawale, Hawaii.

Jump claims that he was possessed by Jay-Z at the time he committed the crime. According to a testimony by psychologist Dr. Duke Wagner, Jump told the authorities should “put Jay Z in prison for the murder of James Johns and put other Illuminati who’ve been attacking [Jump] in prison, too”.

Multiple psychologists have examined Jump to determine if he is fit for trial, but there are disagreements over the real condition of his mental state. Some are saying he is suffering from schizophrenia while others are speculating that he is just high on drugs and alcohol.

The murder happened in December 2012, with Jump using a sharp instrument to bludgeon his victim to death. Jump is said to be suffering from persecutory delusional disorder, and often complained of stomach pains due to ‘celebrities and Illuminati eating away his stomach.’

The court is still debating whether the murder suspect is fit for trial because examiners are split in their decision, 2-1, with Jump previously found to be unfit for the proceedings.

Jump, who refers to himself as the ‘Son of Man,’ claims that Jay-Z and other celebrities are Illuminati. Despite this, Dr. Edmund Valerio of Hawaii State Hospital thinks that Jump is fit for trial, noting that Jump is “very coherent; he knows what he’s doing.”

A Hawaii judge is expected to rule on Jump’s fitness for his own trial by November 24. There is also no comment from Jay-Z’s camp on the allegations thrown his way by Jason Russell Jump.
