The frequently played game series Plants vs. Zombies will be making its console début on the next-generation and current systems in 2014.
The original series Plants vs. Zombies could be found in the mobile application and PC world of gaming and is still a popular game amongst players. The series will be moving out of the mobile application realm and taking its place among the console giants with Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare soon to be available for a multitude of console systems.
Game designers have added an interesting twist to the well-known title converting it into a third person action title. Previews have hinted the game will look very similar to popular title Call of Duty in its game play design. Also similar to COD will be the multiplayer and cooperative play modes full of cartoon-style humor and cutesy graphics.
The graphics already have critics raving with high quality glossy effects and both the plants and zombies look impressive. This is a breath of fresh air for the Action shooting genre with unpredictable fun, laugher and zombie hunting suitable for the whole family. Gamers can expect Garlic drones; cross-hair blazing flowers and over the top big bosses set for hours of amusement.
The E3 demo at EA’s conference gave fans a sneak peak of some outlandish game play and wild bosses with epic fight scenes completely unique for the third person shooter style of gaming. PopCap Franchise Business director Tony Learner offered some insight into the process behind the game, making mention that the company was leery of taking Plants vs. Zombies into the direct of an action shooter game.
However after raving fan reviews the hype surrounding the release of this new title is tremendous and PopCap games are resting easy on its decision. The title itself is an indicator for gamers unfamiliar with the title that your army of plants will have to fend off the undead attacks. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be a unique and bold title in its genre already expected to be a huge hit among the gaming community.
The title is scheduled for release on the Xbox One in spring of 2014, followed by the Xbox 360 and other consoles will follow.
