Pixar Unveils 3 MoviesDisney’s D23 convention today was one of art and presentation and Pixar Studios was the first to unveil upcoming future plans.

Disney animation head John Lasseter began announcements with the help of a few special guests and an appearance from Bill Hader. The group presented their newest cast members and a sneak peak of their up and coming movies in the next three years which includes “The Good Dinosaur” in 2014, “Inside Out” in 2015, and “Finding Dory” in 2016.

The First film, “The Good Dinosaur” is to be released on May 30, 2014 and is being directed by Bob Peterson who is also lead story writer. It is voiced by Lucas Neff, John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Judy Greer, Bill Hader, John Ratzenberger, and the hilarious Neil Patrick Harris from ‘How I met your mother’. The presentation reveals how human life would be if the asteroid that erased the dinosaurs in the face of the earth had missed. It showed dinosaurs being a part of our daily lives such as completing chores in a farmer’s field.

The Second Film, “Inside Out” is directed by Pete Docter and is set to release on June 19, 2015. It is voiced by Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, and Bill Hader. The story revolves around an 11-year-old girl named Riley but it takes the audience deep into uncharted territories of the human mind. The girl’s Anger, Sadness, Disgust and Joy are only a few of the characters with key roles in the movie.

The Third film, and probably the most anticipated of the three is Finding Dory. It is the sequel from the box office hit “Finding Nemo” in 2003. The film is directed by Andrew Stanton, who also directed the original film and is set to release on November 25, 2015. The voice actors from the original film are also confirmed to return, from Ellen DeGeneres as Dory to Albert Brooks as Marlin. They are also joined by new casts including Diane Keaton as Dory’s mother and Eugene Levy as Dory’s father.

“Finding Dory” tells the story one year after the events of “Finding Nemo”. The story involves Dory; having undergone a traumatic event that triggered something in her memory is set to look for her original family and is now joined by a new sidekick in the form of a Beluga Whale named Bailey which is voiced by Ty Burrell.
