New pictures of Oppo Find 7 leaked online

While Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is all set to release its flagship device Oppo Find 7 later this month, a number of pictures have leaked online, showing off the phone before its launch. This is not the first time leaked photos of Find 7 have surfaced the web, as just two days back, a Weibo user managed to click some spy shots of the device.

However, unlike earlier blurry pictures, this time the images are quite clear and show off the front, back and sides of the smartphone. If the images are to be believed, then the new flagship will sport the same design as the Find 5. The only visible difference is a slightly curved bottom edge. Other than that, they look identical. On the front, there’s three capacitive buttons and on the back, there’s LED flash, a camera and a speaker grill at the bottom.

While the new leak does not give away information about its specs, earlier rumors suggest that the device will come in two versions. Both the versions will be quite different with the only identical part being the 5.5 inch display. One model is expected to come with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU and 2GB RAM. The other model will be much better than the first, and will come with a 2,560 x 1440 pixel resolution, 3GB RAM and the latest Snapdragon 801 CPU.

The number of pixels on the camera is not yet clear, but it is rumored that it may come with a 50MP shooter. If this is true, then it will be the best smartphone in the market, at least in terms of camera quality. The battery capacity is not yet known but it is said that the back cover will be removable. Also, like other Oppo smartphones, Find 7 is also expected to retail for around $500.

While Oppo is expected to release the device on March 18, the company has already sent out invites for the same. Surprisingly, instead of a boring event brochure, the company decided to make these invites quite interesting. The invite consists of a black box, wherein the company has placed a QR code, a map to the place of the event and a pyramid stand.

In order to see the teaser video for the event, the user has to scan the QR code and place the phone on the pyramid stand. This will start a short video about the Oppo device. Stay tuned for more information on the device.
