In the latest NBA rumors, suspense reaches a high as Phoenix Suns’ forward Markieff Morris is looking at a possible suspension and Portland Trail Blazer’s point guard Damian Lillard missed yet another game due to an injury with his heel.

Markieff Morris is finding himself in trouble after rude behavior towards his head coach, Jeff Hornacek. During the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets, Morris tossed a towel towards his head coach in a gesture to show that he was displeased with not being put into the game.

Hornacek said, “He’s mad about not playing. I look at the stat sheet. He’s a minus-13 in 12 minutes. So there, I took him out. … He thinks he’s better than that. Show me.”

NBA rumors also suggest that the Phoenix Suns are actively shopping Morris and can’t get him off of their team too soon.

Meanwhile, Damian Lillard found himself missing his third game in a row when he was unable to play this Saturday due to the plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The point guard has been suffering from the pain for more than three weeks, and aggravated the injury when the team played the Miami Heat on December 20th.

Before this setback, Lillard had started 275 consecutive games for the Portland Trail Blazers. This gave him the second longest streak of consecutively played games in Trail Blazers’ history.

Damian Lillard had hoped to play in the game against Cleveland this weekend, saying “I’m shooting for Cleveland. That’s when I would like to be back. It feels a lot better.” However, it was announced the morning of the match that he would be out again. This is the first absence of Lillard’s three season career.

The Denver Nuggets are finding themselves dealing with a plethora of injuries as well, as both forward Danilo Gallinari and guard Emmanuel Mudiay are out with ankle injuries and their center Jusuf Nurkic is out with a patellar tendon injury. According to the NBA rumors, Gallinari and Mudiay are expected to be playing again soon, while Nurkic is predicted to be out of the games for a bit longer, at least 10 to 14 days.
