Although Motorola announced four new devices two weeks back, the launch was kind of overshadowed by the two new large iPhones that were released on September 9th.
Motorola earlier said that these devices would go up for pre-order on September 16th and as promised; Moto X, Moto G, Moto Hint and even its new wearable Moto 360 are now available for pre-order. However, the company added that Moto 360 is only available in limited quantities, so you might want to hurry up on your purchase.
Moto 360 has been one of the most anticipated releases in the second half of the year and it’s not surprising to see the demand for the device outstripping the supply. At present the device retails for $250, which is around the same price as other new wearables in the market.
Given its beautiful design, many prefer Moto 360 over other competitors. Last week when the company made 360 available for pre-order, the device was sold out in a matter of a few hours. So, the same could happen this time too.
Along with the Moto 360, Motorola’s two new smartphones too are now available for pre-order. Last year’s devices, especially Moto G, which turned out to be the best-selling smartphone in the company’s history, gave the company a boost in the smartphone market.
This year’s two smartphones, the new Moto G and Moto X are expected to capitalize on last year’s success. While the second generation Moto G has received good response from people all around the world, Moto X too is receiving a lot of positive reviews this year. In fact, many reviews have even said that Moto X second generation is probably the best current Android device in the market.
Motorola somehow managed to improve the specifications of the phone as well as the design while maintaining the same price tag. The device is available for $100 on AT&T or at $526.99 for the unlocked version. Like last year, there are lots of back texture options like Black Leather, Bamboo or plain Black Resin.
For this price, you get a 5.2 inch Full HD display, 2.5 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 801 processor, 13MP rear camera with 4K video support and 2MP front shooter.
The tiny Moto Hint Bluetooth buds are also available for pre-order along with Moto G and the new Turbo Charger which promises 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
