The benchmark 30-year fixed mortgage is advertised with a 4.00% interest rate and an APR of 4.083%. The shorter-term 15-year fixed loan is quoted today at 3.250% with a 3.376% APR.
Buyers can turn to an adjustable rate mortgage for today’s best rates and greater savings. A 5/1 adjustable rate loan is published at 3.000% for the first five years with a 2.914% starting APR and 1.0 point. The 7/1 ARM is quoted at 3.250% for the first seven years with a 3.069% APR to start and 1.125 points.
Today’s Best Refinance Rates at Chase
JPMorgan Chase quotes refinance rates higher than purchase rates today. The standard 30-year refi loan is quoted at 4.125% with a 4.209% APR and 1.0 point. Homeowners can turn to the more popular 15-year fixed refinance at 3.250% with an APR of 3.431% today and 1.250 points.
For greater flexibility, Chase advertises the 5/1 refinance ARM with an interest rate of 3.125% for the first 5 years and a starting APR of 2.948%. The 7/1 adjustable rate refinance is published at 3.375% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.127% to start.
