Miss Universe 2015 Winner Is Miss Philippines: The Winner And 14 Other Finalists All Here!

Miss Universe 2015 has wrapped up, and going home with the crown is none other than Miss Philippines herself, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. In a surprising turn of events, it was Miss Philippines who won Miss Universe 2015, after announcer Steve Harvey had initially mistakenly crowned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez the winner.

But just who is Miss Philippines? Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is a Filipino-German actress and model who was born in Stuttgart, Germany and grew up in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. At age eleven, she worked as an actress under the screen name Pia Romero and finished her secondary education with the ABS-CBN Distance Learning Center. Additionally, she studied culinary arts at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies in Metro Manila, Philippines.
