For those who have missed great deals in the recent Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping deals, December 9 (Monday) would bring about another opportunity for bargain offers. Microsoft Corp has announced that it would kick off its ’12 Days of Deals’ on that day. But shoppers have to act fast because the offers are expected to sell out quickly.
To start the holiday promotion, the giant technology firm would roll out an amazing deal for Dell Venue 8 Pro. From an original price tag of $299, the Windows tablet would be made available for just $99. But this offer would not last the entire day.
The sale would start at 10 a.m. in Microsoft Stores across the country. For each store, the amazing offer would only be provided to the first 20 customers. After those units are sold out, the price tags of the remaining tablets will be raised to $199. Still, that translates to a hefty discount of $100. That price will prevail until supplies last.
The company would extend that offer to online customers. A similar deal would be offered online. Customers who sign in by 10 a.m. ET would have the chance to purchase the tablet for just $199. Again, shoppers would have to act faster because Microsoft is only offering the marked down price to the first 100 shoppers on its Website. After the units are sold out, prices would revert to normal levels.
12 Days of Deals
Microsoft is yet to make any announcement about other deals that would be rolled out after this offer. The promotional campaign suggests that it would have different offers each day. But the company has hinted that it is about to rollout attractive offers for PCs, phones, fitness and music items, and popular accessories for Xbox and Windows. It intends to post announcements on its Website.
The new lineup of Venue Pro was unveiled by Dell in October. The Dell Venue 8 Pro, as the name suggests, is an 8-inch tablet PC that runs on Windows 8.1. It is one of the slimmest tablets in the market today. It comes with an HD IPS display, which has a resolution of 1,280 X 800 pixels. There is a signature five-finger touch. Inside the device is Intel Atom Z3740D quad-core processor, 32GB of storage, and 2GB of RAM.
