Capital One offers competitive rates for buyers who want to lock into an adjustable rate mortgage on Wednesday. A 5/1 ARM is quoted at 2.875% for the first five years with an APR of 2.842% to start. The popular 7/1 ARM is advertised at 3.000% for the first seven years with an APR of 2.913%.
For larger conforming loans that exceed $417,000, Capital One advertises the 30-year fixed loan at 3.750% with an APR of 3.779%. The larger 15-year mortgage is quoted at 3.000% today with an APR of 3.051%. Buyers can lock into a larger 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage today as low as 2.875% for the first five years with a 2.830% APR to start. The larger 7/1 ARM is advertised at 3.250% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.007% to start.
Capital One also offers jumbo loans at competitive rates. A 30-year jumbo loan is quoted as low as 3.625%, the same as the conforming rate, with an APR of 3.666%. A 15-year jumbo mortgage is advertised at 3.250% with an APR of 3.305%. For borrowers who want more flexibility, Capital One advertises a jumbo 5/1 ARM at 2.375% for the first five years with an APR of 2.652% to start. A 7/1 jumbo ARM is quoted at 2.750% with an APR of 2.770%.

Homeowners can lock into a new loan at a lower rate at Capital One today. A 30-year refi loan is advertised at 3.875% with an APR of 3.917%. The shorter-term 15-year fixed mortgage is quoted at 3.250% with a 3.324% APR. Homeowners can refinance into a 5/1 ARM at 3.125% for the first five years with an APR of 2.929%. A 7/1 ARM refinance is advertised at 3.250% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.020%.
