Lenovo unveils two gaming PCs and an Intel tablet at IFA Berlin

We knew there would be some exciting new product announcements at IFA Berlin and Lenovo decided to kick off the show with three new devices, one tablet and two other gaming PCs.

Lenovo’s TAB S8 is the first Intel powered tablet from the company. The other two are gaming hardware, one being the new Y70 Touch laptop, which comes with a powerful Intel i7 processor along with a 17 inch touch screen, while the ERAZER X315 is an mid-range gaming PC targeted at gamers with a budget.

Lenovo TAB S8

TAB S8 runs on the power efficient Intel Atom Z3745 processor which optimizes power for maximum battery life. The device is light and slim and weighs just around 0.65 pounds. At the front, there’s an 8 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution screen with One Glass Solution touch panel technology.

You get a 1.6 MP camera on top of the display while on the back, there’s an 8MP shooter capable of capturing good low light images, thanks to its F2.2 wide aperture. The tablet also comes with an optional 4G connectivity. You get around 7 hours of battery on the device, which frankly is better than many other portable tablets in the market.

TAB S8 starts at $199, so it’s affordable too. Lenovo will launch this device later this month.

Y70 Touch Gaming Laptop

The second device of the lot is the new Y70 Touch gaming PC. This is the largest touch screen laptop from the company and at 17 inches; gamers will have a great time playing on the device.

The laptop comes with fourth generation Intel Core i7 processors along with the latest NVIDIA GTX graphics. You get a back lit keyboard along with JBL designed speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio. So playing on the device would be a treat for users. The device weighs around 7.5 pounds and will come in 1TB SSHD / 256 GB SSD options.

The Y70 touch gaming laptop will start selling from October at $1299.

ERAZER X315 Affordable Gaming PC

The last of the lot is the new ERAZER X315 gaming PC. The device comes with features such as a quad core processor, AMD Radeon R9 series graphics, 2TB of SSHD storage and 7.1 channel Dolby Audio support. While these specs might not be considered as impressive, the X315 does come with a new design style from Lenovo, which looks quite good and it’s very affordable too. You can get one of these for around $599 starting this November.
