As the launch of Galaxy Note III is fast approaching, there are much news in the market revealing specifications and features of the latest gadget from the smartphone giant. These rumours are in the market from last two months. In this series, “Business Daily”, a famous Korean newspaper published specifications of Note III. As per the newspaper reports, the new phablet will be having a screen of 5.7 inch and the phablet will work on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. It supports android 4.3, that is, the latest of the android – Jelly Bean with 3 GB Random Access Memory (RAM).
The phablet will be supporting newly launched feature of Galaxy S4, that is, LTE-A 4G standard with Samsung’s favourite Super AMOLED panel. There were few rumours a week back which were suggesting that the phablet will be supporting 1080 x 1920 pixels full high definition display. The device is expected to support Xenon Flash with a physical camera key.
The newspaper claims that the company decided to keep 5.7 inch screen after testing the 5.9 inch display as Samsung is not happy with the “not so good” market covered by Galaxy Mega phablets. If it comes out to be 5.7 inch display, then it can be seen as 0.2 inch screen increment in each version of Note. Note –I came with 5.3 inch screen with Note II increasing the screen size by 0.2 inch. After hearing the news, people are not sure if it will easier to hold like Note II.
The recent launch of larger but cheaper phablets – Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 is not very successful until now. As per another rumour Note III will embrace Exynos 5 Octa processor with 2.3 GHZ clock speed. The phablet is expected to release at 4th September in Berlin.
