Current Chase Mortgage Rates for October 21, 2014Mortgage interest rates are largely unchanged at JPMorgan Chase on Tuesday, October 21. The standard 30-year fixed rate mortgage is quoted today at 3.875% with a 3.947% APR. Chase advertises the popular shorter-term 15-year fixed rate loan at 3.000% and an APR of 3.180% for greater savings.

For buyers who want a lower rate, Chase advertises the 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage today at 3.000% for the first five years with a starting APR of 2.914%. The 7/1 ARM offers a bit more predictability with an interest rate as low as 3.125% fixed for the first seven years and a starting APR of 2.991%.

Chase Refinance Rates

Rates on refinance loans are also unchanged today. Chase offers the standard 30-year fixed refinance loan at 4.000% on Tuesday with a corresponding APR of 4.104%. The 15-year refi loan is quoted at a lower 3.125% with an APR of 3.287%.

Homeowners can refinance into an adjustable rate mortgage to get the best rate. A 5/1 adjustable rate refinance loan is quoted at 3.125% for the first seven years with a starting APR of 2.948%. Chase advertises the 7/1 ARM refinance at 3.250% locked for the first seven years with a corresponding APR of 3.049% to start.
