Buyers can lock into a 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage with an interest rate of 3.125% for the first five years and a corresponding APR of 3.030%. A 7/1 ARM is quoted at the same 3.125% for the first seven years for greater predictability with a slightly higher APR of 3.079% to start.

Homeowners can lock into a new loan at a lower interest rate with Chase today. The most popular 30-year fixed refi loan is quoted at a competitive 4.000% with an APR of 4.115%. Homeowners who have a smaller remaining loan balance or those who want to save more on interest can lock into a 15-year refinance loan at 3.250% with an APR of 3.431%.
Homeowners can also opt for an adjustable rate refinance for more flexibility. Chase advertises the popular 5/1 ARM refinance loan at 3.125% for the first five years with an APR of 3.050% to start. A 7/1 ARM offers more predictability with an interest rate of 3.250% for the first seven years and an APR of 3.137% to start.
