Watch Now: Canadian Man Finds Stranger In Bed, Politely Offers Him The Guest Bed

Without a doubt, Canadians are known to be some of the nicest people in the world. If you have any doubt though, then check this video out. The video, which was originally uploaded to Facebook, reportedly shows a man from North Vancouver coming home to find a drunk young man in his bed.

Instead of freaking out like most of us would though, the North Vancouver man keeps a calm demeanor, whips out his phone and decides to record the hilarious encounter. As he attempts to wake up the young man, the cameraman asks several questions, to which the sleepy intruder answers, frustrated that his good night’s sleep was being disturbed.

“You’re in the completely wrong house, you’ve never seen me before in your life,” said the cameraman. To which the intruder, replied, “I really just want to go to sleep, so–” before rolling back to sleep.

The sleepy intruder then insists that he knows the cameraman’s brother (which he doesn’t) and repeatedly says that he pays taxes for the bed.

The cameraman, who is already in a chuckling fit, then says, “Man, you’re going to be so rattled tomorrow morning when you wake up and realize what an a—hole you are.”

After a few more minutes of prodding, the cameraman successfully gets the young man out of bed and offers him a “tour” of the house. The young man suddenly realizes that he USED to live there and seems to sober up enough to call the encounter “weird.”

But in true polite Canadian manner, the cameraman then offers the young man the guest bed for the night, to which, understandably, the young man declines. The video ends with both exchanging pleasantries and saying, “It was nice to meet you!”
