Caitlyn Jenner Kills Woman In Car Crash, Wins Woman Of The Year Award – How Insulting!

Caitlyn Jenner, who won the 2015 annual Woman of the Year Award given by Glamour magazine, is receiving a lot of criticism for being the recipient of said award.

Dubbed “The Transgender Champion” and praised at the ceremony for “teaching America what it means to live a courageous and authentic life,” the people who gave Caitlyn Jenner the award seem to have forgotten that she was responsible for the death of another woman earlier this very year.

In February of 2015, Caitlyn Jenner was driving her Cadillac Escalade in Malibu, California. She proceeded to crash into a white Lexus, which was driven by 69-year-old Kim Howe, and then also hit a black Prius that was driven by Jessica Steindorff.

When Caitlyn Jenner crashed into Howe’s Lexus, she caused Howe’s vehicle to collide with a black Hummer in another lane. The entire accident is clearly seen in surveillance footage, which you can watch here. Kim Howe died in the car accident, yet Jenner was not charged with anything, despite clearly being responsible for the four-car pile up.

Caitlyn Jenner, who walked away from the accident uninjured, is still free to enjoy her life even though her actions ended Kim Howe’s life. Instead of being punished by the law, as she should have been, or receiving jail time, Jenner was awarded “Woman of the Year.”

While coming out to the world as transgender may be hard to do, there are thousands of people all over the world who do it. Caitlyn Jenner’s story is far from unique.

In fact, if you scroll through the Lizzy the Lezzy Facebook page, you can see hundreds of people sharing their stories of coming out as gay or transgender.

Ashlee, who shared her story on Lizzy the Lezzy’s page, is a transgender woman who was kicked out of her home by her parents at 16 years old when she came out as transgender. On her own, Ashlee managed to finish high school, get her own apartment, and is getting ready to start college in the spring.

What makes Caitlyn Jenner, who killed a woman and walked away with no consequences, more deserving of the Woman of the Year award than Ashlee, who had her home taken away from her and still managed to build up a life for herself?

James Smith, whose wife, Moira, won the Woman of the Year award in 2001 posthumously, was so insulted when Caitlyn Jenner won this year’s award that he actually returned his wife’s own award, sending it back to Glamour.

Moira Smith was the only female NYPD officer to have died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and was given the award in recognition of her bravery and service to her country. James called it a “slap in the face” when Caitlyn Jenner was given the same award for doing something that thousands do every day, saying “Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?”

The only difference between Caitlyn Jenner and thousands of other women who came out as transgender this year, besides the fact that Jenner is responsible for the death of another woman, is the fact that Jenner had the publicity of her family’s television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Somehow, the show’s publicity seems to have negated the fact that she killed a woman.
