Bruce McPheeters Joins Ceridian as General Counsel and Secretary

Ceridian Corporation, a global provider of human capital management solutions, announces that Bruce McPheeters has been appointed general counsel and secretary, effective April 1, 2013. He will assume responsibility for the company’s legal and regulatory affairs and will report to Stuart C. Harvey, Jr., Ceridian’s chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Bruce McPheeters brings to Ceridian a wealth of experience with both private and public companies. Prior to joining Ceridian, McPheeters was general counsel and corporate secretary for XRS Corporation, which develops mobile compliance and fleet management software solutions, using a smart phone and SaaS delivery model. Prior to XRS, McPheeters was general counsel, corporate secretary and senior vice president of Lawson Software, Inc., a global provider of enterprise resource planning software.

McPheeters is a graduate of Iowa State University and received his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Southern California Law School, where he served as an editor of the Southern California Law Review.
