In this heartwarming story, two young children prove to be bigger than their bodies and display an act of love that will both shock and impress you.

According to reports, young father Wang Xiyong was in excruciating pain after being stuck by “arc light from high-tension cables in August.” The incident left him with 91% of his body covered with burns and in unfathomable pain.

He underwent a total of three skin grafts in a span of two months in an attempt to mend his injures, but even then, the skin grafts weren’t enough.

Taking into consideration the patient’s medical condition and financial capacity, Wang Xiyong’s doctor approached Wang’s wife with a head-reeling proposition – use the scalps of Wang’s children for his transplant.

Despite being reassured that the children’s scalp would grow back healthily and immediately, Wang’s wife understandably refused the proposition. However, when proving to find skin donor’s were proving difficult and with Wang’s health waning, the wife then brought the idea up with the couples 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter.

To the surprise of Wang’s wife, both children immediately said yes without hesitation. According to reports, the procedure was a success and reduced Wang to tears as he thought of “the two young children who endured as much pain as their father to free him from the hands of death.”
