BlackBerry Z30 caught on camera once again

BlackBerry Z30 caught on camera once againEven though the company has just formed a committee to start analyzing the best options for the future of BlackBerry, it has not stopped one leaker from getting a great HD video on the new BlackBerry Z30 smartphone.

The new video goes into full detail on the BlackBerry Z30, covering almost every inch and spec of the smartphone on its outside. It seems the new smartphone will be the successor to the shortly lived BlackBerry Z10, with a larger five-inch Super AMOLED display.

The prototype version has an AT&T logo visible pointing at a possible US launch on one carrier. BlackBerry has not had the success Motorola, Samsung and Apple have had in the US and thus cannot afford the luxury of grabbing all four carriers to their smartphone.

Other than that we have the same sort of design on the sides as on the BlackBerry Z10. The BlackBerry Z30 looks a lot less like the iPhone 5, which is good for unique taste but in our view it actually looks a little more shoddy with the grey bottom, but this color may be an option, alongside white and black.

Inside is a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM, this is good enough for BB10 that does not need a quad-core processor to run smooth. There will be only 16GB of internal storage, a 2800mAh battery, 8MP back camera and 2MP front camera.

This all seems rather standard for the company with their head in the water. BlackBerry may still be a promising company in some shareholders eyes, but with the recent news on a possible sale, it is likely we will see many top investors and fans back away from the company as it goes through the transition.

Now all eyes turn to a possible buyer, Lenovo has been pegged as one of the biggest options, with the Chinese firm already expressing interesting in acquiring the company before BlackBerry even announced the decision to try and analyze different positions.
