Mortgage rates have shown some movement at JPMorgan Chase on Thursday, October 16. Chase advertises the benchmark 30-year fixed rate mortgage with an interest rate as low as 3.875% today with an APR of 3.937%. The popular shorter-term 15-year fixed loan is advertised at 3.000% with a 3.180% APR.
For greater flexibility and the lowest mortgage rates, Chase advertises the 5/1 LIBOR ARM at 2.875% for the first five years with a corresponding APR of 2.871% and 1.00 points. The 7/1 adjustable rate mortgage is quoted at a higher 3.000% interest rate that is locked for seven years. The 7/1 ARM has an APR of 2.933% to start.
Chase Refi Rates Today
Refinance interest rates remain competitive on Thursday. Chase quotes the standard 30-year fixed refinance loan at 4.000% today for well qualified buyers with a corresponding APR of 4.093%. The shorter-term 15-year fixed refi loan is quoted at 3.125% with an APR of 3.287%.
Homeowners can also choose to refinance into an adjustable rate mortgage. A 5/1 adjustable rate refinance is advertised as low as 3.000% for the first five years with an APR of 2.904% to start. A 7/1 refinance ARM is quoted at 3.125% locked for seven years with a 2.991% APR to start.
