Ariana Grande Locks Lips With Victorious Star Elizabeth Gillies

Longtime buddies Ariana Grande and Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies had a mini reunion that got a little more touchy-feely than what you would expect of a usual get together among girls.

In a video posted to Grande’s Instagram account, the 22-year-olds are seen sharing a brief smooch, resulting in fits of giggles and shrieks across the room. “It has to be pretty though,” Gillies says in the video, which was captioned with, ‘my favorite video of all time @lizgillz. Both actresses have been close since 2008, ever since they got their big breaks in the musical 13. “She’s like blood to me, she’s like my sister,” Gillies fondly claims. “So unless we have a massive falling out, nothing will be happening here.”

The two have also worked together on the Nickelodeon television series Victorious, which ran for four seasons.

Today, Gillies stars in the FX comedy television series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll as Gigi, the lead singer of a rock band and Denis Leary’s on-screen daughter.

“Even when I was on Nickelodeon, I talked and had the sense of humor of someone much older than me, so it’s fun for me to kind of be myself more on this,” Gillies says of her more adult role. “Not that I wasn’t then — I was younger! I did Victorious when I was younger, so I think it’s just a natural progression.

Meanwhile, Grande has been busy teasing her fans of her upcoming third studio album, releasing a 15-second snippet of her new single, “Focus.”

Grande is currently dating back-up dancer Ricky Alvarez, just months following her split from rapper Big Sean. On the other hand, Gillies is in a relationship, though her boyfriend’s identity is currently undisclosed. She has also been linked to former Victorious co-star Matt Bennett.
