Apple likely to announce new iPads on October 21

Apple likely to announce new iPads on October 21We were hoping to see the new generation of iPad lineup from Apple at the Cupertino event held on September 9th. However, Apple just announced two new iPhones and the Apple watch at the event.

So looks like the company is going to follow its usual release schedule and we can expect to see the new launch anytime in the next few months. While the Cupertino giant has not yet announced any event for such a launch, Daily Dot claims that the company is going to host an event on October 21st this year where it will release two new iPads as well as the official version of Yosemite.

While iPad Air and iPad Mini are probably the two tablets that Daily Dot is talking about, we cannot entirely rule out the entry of a much larger iPad Pro. This rumored 12.9 inch tablet has made its fair share of rounds on the internet and it can be a great addition to the iPad lineup especially for enterprise customers.

Although most of the customers use their tablets for entertainment purposes, some of them even use it for their work. The rumored iPad Pro with its 12.9 inch screen could be the perfect choice for such customers. Moreover, Apple’s recent partnership with IBM for providing enterprise solutions through their devices can help enterprise customers to do their work.

Apple’s two new large screen phones have set records and made headlines. The demand has been much higher than the available supply due to which the shipping dates have gone back as much as October. In fact, the largest model of 5.5 inches has been the consumer favorite which clearly shows Big is better in this market.

Apple has not yet revealed anything about a new large screen tablet and all the details that we have as of now are through leaks and rumors.

Coming to the other possible releases at the event, the second generation iPad Air and the iPad Mini are expected to come with better resolutions and specifications.

If Apple is really going to host an event on October 21st, then we should be seeing invites pretty soon. So, stay tuned to the website for updates on the upcoming iPad event.
