Anonymous continues to wage war against ISIS, as they have been doing ever since the tragic terror events in Paris last month, and today they are upping their game with a new campaign that they have announce: ‘Day of Rage.’ This anti-ISIS campaign aims to get the whole world involved in the war against ISIS, and even you can participate.

While announcing their ‘Day of Rage’ campaign, a member of Anonymous said of ISIS, “They thrive off fear and hope that by their actions they can silence all of us and get us to just lay low and hide in fear. We will show them that we are not afraid, we will not just hide in our fear, we are the majority and with our strength in numbers we can make a real difference.”

Just how does Anonymous aim to make a difference? Well, according to their members, you can be a part of the ‘Day of Rage’ and “show your support and help against ISIS by joining us and trolling them. Do not think you have to be a part of Anonymous, anyone can do this and does not require any special skills.”

Part of the ‘Day of Rage’ campaign will simply be aimed at mocking ISIS through troll posts online. Supporters of the Anonymous campaign have been encouraged to use the hashtag #Daeshbags and post at ISIS’ social media accounts with pictures of goats “with captions talking about their wives.”

For those in London who wish to show their support of Anonymous, supporters can meet at Constitution Hill between 6pm and 10pm on December 11th to take part in what is expected to be a peaceful but rowdy protest against the terrorist group.

Meanwhile, Anonymous hacktivists will be continuing their work of taking down ISIS accounts by hacking or reporting them. Anonymous will also continue trying to uncover and expose the names of ISIS recruiters to be reported to the authorities if at all possible.

Whatever should happen during the ‘Day of Rage’ campaign, it obviously won’t be enough to shut down ISIS but is rather a way for the world to rally together against them and show your support for Anonymous and their concentrated efforts against the terrorist group.
