Adele Reveals Which New 25 Song Was Inspired By Taylor Swift – Find Out Here!

Remember when Adele suddenly dropped a bomb with Hello at X Factor UK’s ad break? Since then, the multi award-winning singer has released her third studio album, 25, and has even announced tour dates for 2016, despite earlier playing coy about it.

25 debuted at number one during its release, while Hello has been the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since it came out four weeks ago. It’s been a great comeback for Adele, but could her success stem from pulling inspiration from other fellow chart-toppers — like, say, Taylor Swift?

In a recent interview with NPR, Adele revealed how one song from her album — titled as a reflection of her life and frame of mind at 25 years old — had come to life thanks to an indirect involvement from the Blank Space singer.

Send My Love To Your New Lover is a track on 25 in which Adele and Swedish superproducer Max Martin collaborated on. Adele described the song as “poppier than a lot of pop songs I’ve even heard,” before she went on to explain how the track and collaboration came to be.

“I was in New York, writing Remedy with Ryan Tedder. We were having lunch, and [I Knew You Were Trouble] came on the radio, Taylor’s song that she did with Max and Shellback,” she started. “I was like, ‘Who did this?’ I knew it was Taylor, and I’ve always loved her, but this is totally other side — like, ‘I want to know who like brought that out in her.’ And he said Max Martin.”

The revelation prompted Adele to do some research on Martin, only for her to find out that he has “literally written every massive soundtrack of my life.” It wasn’t long before she got cracking in the studio, and Send My Love was born.

“Max Martin, I just could hang out with him forever,” she said of the producer. “He’s so beautiful and lovely and funny and generous and warm and caring. He’s a really amazing man.”
