X Factor UK 4th Impact Celebrate Christmas At Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Christmastime is all about giving rather than receiving, and X Factor UK finalists 4th Impact are the perfect embodiment of that saying. Just recently, Mylene, Irene, Almira, and Celina Cercado — the Filipina sisters who make up the all-girl singing group — paid a visit to patients at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

In particular, the sisters made an appearance in front of patients on Ward 1, where children are treated for kidney diseases and receive dialysis. They moved from ward to ward, spreading the Christmas cheer, swapping stories with the kids, taking pictures together, and even performing a few holiday tunes for the bed-ridden patients.

Of their festive holiday spirit in what would have been a sickly Christmas for the children, a spokeswoman of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital said, “We would like to thank 4th Impact for requesting to come and visit children at the hospital today. It was truly magical for all the kids, their families and their carers.”

“We always like to try and make Christmas special for the children who will be at the hospital over Christmas, and to have 4th Impact here really helped to lift everyone’s spirits,” the spokeswoman added. “It was a fantastic day.”

The girls, meanwhile, took to Twitter to post their gratitude to the hospital. “We are blessed to share our talent and make them happy,” they wrote.

The sisters — who will be spending Christmas in the UK in light of the upcoming X Factor UK tour — may not have won the competition, but they’ve definitely won the hearts of many, thanks to their generosity and selflessness. 4th Impact is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
