The Pittsburgh-headquartered lender, PNC Bank (NYSE:PNC) has revealed their current mortgage rates for today, Friday, October 11, 2013.
This comes a day after the bank revealed their new Microsoft Windows APP to customers. Senior Vice-President of digital experience at PNC Mike Ley said, “While the demand for enhanced technology in banking grows … PNC is determined to research and develop the tools necessary to provide our customers the banking experience they desire.”
The APP is targeted for Windows 8 users on their laptops, smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
The largest Fixed Rate Mortgage offered by the bank, the 30 Year period was listed today at a varying rate of 4.250% – 4.625% while the APR for the same term remains unchanged at 4.388% – 4.562%.
In the 20 Year Purchase Transaction FRM category, the rate has been published at 4.000% – 4.375%. The lower end of the APR experienced a slight decrease while the upper end remained unchanged at 4.172% – 4.317%.
The more popular 15 Year Fixed Rate remained at 3.250% – 3.625% while the corresponding APR decreased today and is listed at a varying 3.444% – 3.493%.
For borrowers interested in the 10 Year FRM, the rate has been listed at a variable of 3.000% – 3.500% which exhibits a slight increase on the upper extremities. The APR of 3.251% – 3.335% experience an overall decrease from yesterday.
In all of the Purchase transactions, the rate has been estimated on a $200,000 property located in the city of Chicago, IL and “given a 30 day lock,” “debt-to-income ratio below 40%,” among other assumptions. Please see the lenders site for detailed information.
Borrowers interested in refinancing their properties have four loan types to choose from with PNC bank.
The 30 Year Refinance, can be picked up today at 4.500%-4.750% (unchanged) while the APR for the same term is 4.585% – 4.685%, lower from the day before.
20 Year Fixed Refinance at a rate of 4.125%-4.500%. The corresponding APR for this term is 4.297%-4.440%.
Borrowers who are interested in the 15 Year Refinance rate listed between 3.375% and 3.750%, while the 15 Year APR was published at a slightly lower rate today ; 3.586% – 3.688%.
The 10 Year Fixed Rate Refinance with PNC was the only rate to change today at 3.125% – 3.625%, lower from yesterday. The APR also experienced a decreased and is listed today at 3.427% – 3.509%.
All Refinances with PNC are calculated assuming a property value of $200,000 and given the property is located in Chicago, IL. All rates for refinance are valid for 45 day locks.
